 Exposure: This is the amount of light your camera sensor or film receives, and is mainly controlled by three systems. Aperture (f-stop): This determines the maximum aperture of the lens. A larger aperture (smaller f-number) lets in more light and creates a shallower depth of field, which means the background is blurry. A smaller aperture (large f-number) lets in less light and a deeper depth of field, which means more focus on the area. Shutter Speed: This determines how long the camera shutter stays open.
